What is Laundry Express?
Laundry Express is a laundry service designed to make life easier for boarding school students by taking care of their weekly washing and ironing. Our goal is to help students save time and focus more on their studies and other important activities.
Who can subscribe to Laundry Express?
Our service is particularly encouraged for final-year students who need more time for studying and examination preparation. However, students in other year groups are also welcome to subscribe.
How much does the service cost?
Our monthly laundry package costs GH₵350 per student.
What does the monthly package include?
The package includes: Washing, Ironing and Weekly laundry collection and delivery.
How many clothes can I submit each week?
Each subscribed student may submit a maximum of 30 items per week.
Please ensure that your laundry does not exceed this limit.
What is the payment deadline?
Payment must be completed by the first day of the month for which you wish to subscribe.
November subscription: 1 November 2026.
December subscription: 1 December 2026.
Subsequent subscriptions: The first day of the relevant month.
We encourage parents and guardians to complete their payments before the applicable deadline to ensure timely enrolment.
Yes! Parents and guardians may pay for multiple children at the same time. You may also pay for more than one subscription month in advance, if you wish.
For example, you can arrange payment for two children or pay for both November and December in advance.
Please ensure that each child is correctly identified during the subscription process.
Can I pay for more than one child?
Is subscribing compulsory?
No. Laundry Express is an entirely optional service. Parents and guardians may decide whether the package is suitable for their wards.
However, Legacy Girls College encourages families, particularly those of final-year students, to consider the service as a way of helping students manage their time more effectively.

What if my laundry exceeds the 30-item limit?
Each weekly collection is limited to 30 items per student. Any items exceeding this limit will attract an additional charge of GH₵100 per extra item. Please ensure that you stay within the weekly limit or are prepared to pay the applicable additional charges.
